This hotel had a very central position from the "Cours de Medoc" tram stop on line B. And it was also right by the Sunday morning market, where wonderful breakfast choices can be had, including fresh oysters at €7 for 6 on the half shell, the river and the shops and restaurants on the river bank and restaurant.

My recent stay at Vatel was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and well-equipped rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent with easy-to-use controls. The hotel's location in Bordeaux was perfect for exploring the city on foot or using the nearby tram. Despite a few small hiccups, such as a temperamental coffee machine and an erratic hairdryer, the staff were friendly and attentive, doing their best to resolve any issues. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and I appreciated the efforts towards being eco-friendly. I highly recommend staying at Vatel for a fabulous experience in Bordeaux.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel located along the river. It was just a 20-minute walk from the center, making it convenient for exploring the city. The tram station was also nearby, so getting around was a breeze. The staff, mainly students of a local business school, were exceptionally nice and helpful. Additionally, the hotel had a lovely patio where I enjoyed breakfast in the mornings. the location and service at this hotel were excellent.
